Well there are only five more days to the  first ever Meltdown at Core Essentials on Friday March 26. The response has been phenomenal. We are super psyched for the evening.

We have DJ Scott Rideout from True North DJ Services, he'll be spinning and mixing tunes all night long!

We've got some great prizes up for grabs. The grand prize being one free registration to our weekend Fitness & Wellness Fall Retreat. This includes accommodation, meals and of course fabulous workouts and nutrition.

Push Up

The first week of January has been a busy week at Core, new classes started and we've been able to meet a lot of new people in the community.

The RealRyder schedule got underway and as we knew it would be, people are loving the experience. We have an amazing group of instructors who all bring a little something different to each of their classes.

Holiday Drop In Classes sticky icon

Happy Holidays

I know that December is a really busy month for everyone, shopping, travel, holiday functions, great food, family…

Keeping fit during this hectic time of year when food and festivities are abundant can be difficult- we don’t always make the best choices and really we should try and enjoy ourselves.

I decided that from December 10th -29th we would offer drop in classes (pay as you go) when our workshops have ended. There’s no weekly commitment but you’ll be able to get in some much needed exercise and keep healthy during the holidays.

RealRyder Indoor Stationary Bike

On Monday evening I received a call from the shipper asking for my customs broker because they were picking up a  shipment for me. I started to get a little excited.

I spoke with the shipper this afternoon and she told me the bikes are due to arrive in Nova Scotia on Monday- how awesome is that?

I'll keep you posted on delivery, installation and when our instructors get trained.

Happy Weekend!

RealRyder Testimonial sticky icon

Shedding it & Getting It

Here is a great testimonial from a girl who tried out the RealRyders for the first time in New York City. She obviously blogs a great deal and is quite raw in some of her language.

Word on our RealRyders, they are currently being held in customs awaiting entry to the US so they can continue on to Dartmouth to the Core Essentials Studio. The room is ready and waiting! I'm hooking up the stereo system this week!

Oh, don't worry you won't need cycling shoes to ride but if you have them you are able to clip in as well.

Got the keys!! sticky icon

50 Queen Street

We got the keys to the new building this afternoon- it was very exciting!

What a great feeling to walk in to the building this evening; I even ran a bootcamp in there tonight. It was nice to see how the new space would work.

I am looking forward to spending time in the space organizing, cleaning and moving in our things.

Our signage is due to be installed tomorrow and even a new flag is going up on the building.
