Great Work Out Fran!
I think I may have neglected my own workouts a bit with moving in to the new space. Well, yesterday I had a super workout. I am still quite sore today- mainly upper body- traps and lats.
The workout started out with kettlebell cleans- 3 per side moving down in weight: 65lbs, 55lbs and 45lbs, followed by double cleans with 36 lbs. The 45lb and 36lb felt like feathers after the 65lb.
The torture then came with the Fran workout, are you ready for this? I have no idea who Fran is but she has a sick idea of fun! The Fran workout consists of 21 thrusters, 21 chin ups with power bands. This is then followed by 15 thrusters and 15 chin ups and finally 9 thrusters and 9 chin ups.
I started out with two 36lb kettlebells for the thrusters but could only get 10 out, so I droppped to two 25lb kettlebells for the remainder of the workout. I think it was more mental than anything but by the 9 thrusters and 9 chin ups I had regained my energy.
This whole workout took 30 minutes, I did have to stop at one point briefly because I thought I had split the seam in pants doing the thrusters!
Today is a rest day and I'll be back at it tomorrow.
