A Step Beyond

Over the last twenty years I have been a member of a number of different gyms.

Two months ago I attended my first RealRyder class at Core Essentials and I have become a believer. The classes are wild, the instructors fantastic, and the owners really take the time to get to know you.

Whether it be the reminder e-mails for classes, the club newsletter, or their continued request for feedback, they go a step beyond that of other gyms. I recommend these classes in the highest possible terms.

Yoga is Great at Core Essentials!

While I don't generally like to exercise (but do so for my mental and physical health!), I do like to downward dog.  So, I was thrilled to see that Core Essentials had added a yoga class with Lori Duggan as the instructor.

Love The Classes and Instructors

I am really loving all the classes at Core Essentials, in particular the Water-Rowing and the RealRyder bike classes are great, and I plan on getting a 3 month membership!

I've been with other, bigger gyms for 14 years but I definitely prefer this type of venue much more.

Love the small classes and the instructors are great; especially Laurissa & Lucy and the RealRyder Sunday classes with Sue!

Hey! I just wanted to let you and Lucy know that I made the varisty rowing team at Queens!

My 2K was 7:35.1 (ten seconds below what my coach said was the minimum) and seat racing went really well and then I made it!

Hey everyone! I can attest to the affects of this vitiman D. As if the man needed more energy, ladies and gentlemen..it has happend. But what a great place CORE is. A Halifax based crew of us makes the journey over the bridge at lunchtime MWF for continued torture, I mean classes with Mr. Guthrie and it has been "working out" fantastic.

Great Instructor, Great Class

The class was by far the best spin class I've been to - Mike was a great instructor and it was nice to have him lead the RealRyder class.

He talked to us before the class and shared some basic information. When the class started he threw in some commentary along the way to make the time fly and was very personable.
